Is this the highest the Mavs have ever been ranked in Division I hockey?

I believe they were as high as eighth, maybe seventh, in 2002-03.

Last season, they got as high as 9th in one poll, 10th in the other.

The highest ever was #8 during the 2002-2003 season.

Oh yeah, I should have remembered last year's rankings. I guess I got a little too excited. Thanks for the info. on them being ranked #8 during the 2002-03 season. Here's hoping they end up earning their highest ever ranking sometime during the 2008-09 season.
