Five in a row

The Mavericks dropped their fifth consecutive game Monday, falling to Princeton 5-2. Geoff Irwin and Mike Louwerse scored goals for MSU, which fell to 8-8-3. They are now 23rd in the Pairwise and Princeton is No. 1, although there are still games remaining on tonight's schedule.

Princeton, which is ranked eighth in the national polls, outshot MSU 42-33 and was 3 for 7 on the power play.

Was at the game tonight Shane. Princeton looks legit to me. Trying not to jinx them, but hard not to notice what the Tigers are doing. I think the Mavs will turn it back around eventually, and they will have nothing to be ashamed about when they look back at this one.

Thanks for the report. Are you going to Yale, too?

Hopefully the Mavs will turn it around. By the way the stat sheet read the defense still isn't performing like they were in the beginning of the season.
