People have hockey on the mind, as there has been at least one WCHA preseason prediction put together as well as some preseason awards (link fixed).
I've been asked to participate in a preseason media poll, and my picks are due next week.

Justin Jokinen, Tyler Pitlick, Eli Zuck, and Kevin Murdock are among the players that I am most interested to see this year.

I have to agree with the blogger about Minnesota State's questionable defense. I think the Mavs have a very formidable crew of forwards. I also believe that Kevin Murdock or Austin Lee with be just fine in net (one may even turn in a Dan Tormey-like freshman season). However, the defense always seems to be the issue. Davis and Youds are stellar players, but after that I get very worried. It's not a good feeling.
Anyone know who the capitans are this year?
