Mavericks 5, Seawolves 2

Kael Mouillierat scored two goals, including a short-handed goal, and assisted on Zach Harrison's MSU career-record seventh short-handed goal as MSU got its second WCHA win of 2010. Eriah Hayes (25) and Rylan Galiardi also had goals, and Phil Cook made 28 saves.

LetsGoMavs said...: Mouillierat could have easily scored the short handed goal he passed to Harrison and gotten the hat trick. However, he knew that Harrison would make the shot and get the record, so he passed it. I think that passing it shows a lot of character out of Mouillierat and that he's a great team player.

BUT period 1? Going into the playoffs we can not allow a goal within the first minute, have so many penalties and play sloppy. This is Alaska and we will not have such luxury come March.

Of course HAPPY for the win, yet we have to play 60 minutes of HOCKEY from the puck drop...
