Inside College Hockey (
INCH) is in the midst of its annual A to Z look at some of the top players around the country. Today, Minnesota State's Kurt Davis is
profiled. Read it for yourself, but a couple of quick highlights: With some of the WCHA's early departures this offseason, could Davis be one of the best offensive defensemen in the conference? Also, look for the "
Fletch" reference in the story.

Matt Lietner has been removed from the Minnesota State Roster. Could you find out what is going on with that Shane?
Idk what's up with that....I work on campus n he was their today…..hope it's just a mix up or something....
sounds like grades...
I don't know how it could be a mix up. He was on the roster and now he has clearly been removed. It looks like more bad news for the Mavericks.
What's the bad news? This team is deep and causes everyone to step-up which was not always the case last year. Let's GO Mavs
The bad news is the Mavericks losing another talented and skilled forward which they thought they were going into battle with this year. First Pitlick and now Leitner. Hopefully he can make it on the roster by spring semester and help this team down the stretch.
Come on now, it's a team game. Last I read we have plenty of talent that can score. Also, I recall Shane writing back when that the boy from Canada would be filling the "so called" Pitlik void...
This team is young and hungry for a championship and they will show us something for the next several years...Go Mavs
I realize it is a team game. You can't denying the fact that losing Leitner is a hit to the team. I'm not saying that they can't compensate I'm just saying that it hurts the team not to have him on the roster. Leitner was arguably the most skilled and seasoned rookie to come in this year. I hope you are right and the class of freshmen that are still on the roster excel this year.
Shane, how's it looking at the captains skates?
