MSU hockey alumni in town

The annual Dan Meyer Golf Classic took place Monday at the Mankato Golf Club. The event raises funds for the MSU Blue Line Club, the hockey booster club. A few hockey alumni participated in the event, including out-of-towners Shane Joseph, Tim Jackman, Brad Thompson and Aaron Fox. Here are some videos of Joseph and Jackman.

How Crazy.

Penn State completely turns College hockey upside down with their greed to start a hockey program.

And now look where they are with football, dirty coach and AD.

Karma, perhaps...

BIG,

I have a hard time calling Penn State greedy. I think a school like that adding hockey is good for the sport overall, considering there are less than 60 teams.

Obviously, PSU started a domino rally few saw coming the way it did. Perhaps the Big Ten could have waived its rule on having a conference sport once six teams were in place. Perhaps, the NCHC teams could have looked into improving their conferences w/o the BIg Ten rather than break off.

But what's done is done, and we'll have to see how things play out now.
