Feels like a wasted year sort of in the big three MSU sports. Number 1 in football, can't win the first game. Basketball had their chance, played terrible but close against a team that they should beat in the second round. Hockey had their chance, made a couple of bad plays against a really good team, pays for it with a one and done. Add that to a baseball loss in the championship where a pitcher loses his only game of the year last year, it has been pretty frustrating. You can't ever count on these chances, and to have 4 big chances in 10 months is hard to take. Maybe next year?
