I see there have been some questions worth answering over the last few posts, so there will be another edition of "You Want Answers" this week. Please submit your questions regarding the Mavericks, the NCAA tournament, the WCHA or whatever else is on your mind later this week.
This won't be the end of the blog for the season, either. Keep checking back for more MSU news, recruiting updates, NHL and pro reports (I'm long overdue on one of those) and other fun stuff.

I heard Trevor Bruess has been talking to several NHL teams do you have any information on this?
I heard from one of Bruess' cousins that the Anaheim Ducks have for sure been in touch. Hopefully he sticks it out for one more year. The Mavs could be pretty special next year.
Do you play hockey, Shane? Just curious. What can a guy do to get his hockey fix in the Mankato area during the summer? Are there Men's leagues, rec leagues, pickup games, anything?
There are some interesting yet confusing stories of former recruit Garry Nunn on the web. Do you know anything about his turning pro?
We have some questions and concerns about the Shepherd officiating...is it true that they are brothers and that their father is the head of WCHA officials? Are they alumni of the U of MN? We have heard that their families are huge Gopher supporters with season tickets. Do you really think it is ethical for them to officiate Gopher hockey under these circumstance... playoff games in particular? In the 3 game series with the Gophers and the Mavs, these refs were quick to blow the whistle when the puck was around Kangas, but allowed the Gophers a lot of time to jab at Zacharias to get the puck loose. They consistantly conversate with the Gopher bench during games, and seem to get satisfaction from calling the Mavs on insignificant or erroneous penalties, but then fail to call actual takedowns and checking from behind on the Gophers.
