Feedback wanted

I know PucKato owes its readers another installment of "You Want Answers," but, right now, I'm the one wanting feedback. After a full season of college hockey blogging, what did you think? What was good? What was bad? What was ugly? What do read? What don't you read? What do you want to see more of? What do you want less of? Drop a comment or two below or email me your thoughts. How can the blog be better? How can it compliment and enhance the newspaper coverage?

I want answers!

I thought this blog was incredible. You constantly took time to update it and I was able to find information on the Mavericks that couldn't be found anywhere else. I especially liked the updates on incoming recruits and the status of former Mavericks. I really can't think of anything to complain about when it comes to this column. It was awesome. If you want a suggestion, though, maybe you could give us some more updates on the sort of seasons future Mavericks are having with their high school and junior teams. It's fun to dream about the future of this ever-improving hockey team. Keep up the great work Shane.

Shane, thanks for a very informative year. You have provided us with alot of great information most people wouldn't get from the paper.

I have one suggestion. More in game updates! I know the NCAA has rules about this and your following them. I'm at all the home games, but I know others aren't and I'm not at all the away games.

In any case, thanks again!

Good work on the blog coverage. I have been able to balance your coverage with the USCHO.com coverage, and keep up to date with everything that is going on. My question to you is, Where do you think the Mavericks will be ranked in the preseason realeased polls? Both WCHA wise, and nation wide. I feel like the Mavericks are for sure going to be predicted in the top 4 of the WCHA.

The blog was the only way I could keep up to date on the Mavs since there is essentially no coverage of them in the twin cities. It was a nice addition to the sports page and I (along with many others I'm sure) really appreciate that you take the time to post and update the blog. Really don't have any suggestions. I think the site is pretty solid the way your currently have it.

The blog was great. Tons of information about Maverick Hockey. The only thing I would like to see more of is stats or profiles of recruits when they commit to the Mavericks. The more information the better. Thanks for a great season!
