Any reason why Mike Louwerse DNP?

I'm not in Lowell. I heard he was scratched after the morning skate. I don't know if he was hurt or if he was a healthy scratch. Lehrke took his spot and had two assists.

Nice to see the guys get a win, and score quite a bit in the process. Sure it came against a team that has had about as bad a year as the Mavericks so far, but a win is a win I suppose.

I'm curious to know why Louwerse didn't play as well. I sure hope he's out there tomorrow night. The amount of talent he has handling the puck is unmatched.

Interesting that the last time the Mavericks scored 8 goals and had a hat trick Lee was in the nets for the game against Alaska in 2009 and now Lee was in the net again. The team must feel pretty comfortable when Lee is covering the back door so they can take more chances offensively.

Hoc, mmmmm.... no. The mavs were the benifactors of poor UML goaltending and a few lucky offensive bounces. Everything was going in. You sound like a newbie.

I am not a "newbie" and the press backs up my assessment of the impressive offense on Friday and I'm proud of the Mavericks offensive performance on Friday. I'm backed up by a "non newbie" WCHA Columnist Theresa Spisak in her Sunday November 28, 2010 sports column: " When I saw the result of MSU's game against Mass. -Lowell on Friday, I about did a double take. Eight goals? Holy offense, Batman. Five of them came from two players - Justin Jokinen had a hat trick and Rylan Galiardi netted another two."
Okay, that about does it.
