What up Shane? I was wondering if you could tell me why the Mavericks can't hold a lead late in a game when playing a ranked opponent? First they blew it against North Dakota, and then again this weekend vs. Denver. What's with these hosers?

What are the chances MSU is, or will be, recruiting scoring-sensation Ville Rantanen of Mankato West? I haven't seen him play, but does he appear to have the talent to be successful at the D1 level?

What have the Mavericks been focusing on at practice this week in preparation for the Badgers? Anything in specific they feel they did poorly that cost them against Denver?

hey shane do you know if they are bringing in any more recruits for next year?

Where have all the Canadiens gone? What happened to that Alberta pipeline? The team use to be about half and half. Now, we're down to two and one of those is a goalie. What gives?

Is there anyone signed or coming in that can play D??? Been a season ticket holder for years but never been as frustrated with the D as I have been this year.

Just because it's your favorite topic I must ask.....

Do you have an "in" at all with the music guy? The way too long lame intro needs to go. Shorten it up and get a better song! Oh and am I imagining things or are there 2 different ones for each night?

Also on a side note, Channing Boe totally got hosed by the WCHA. He deserved to be D of the week, not just nominated. BOO WCHA!!

LetsGoMavs...D of the week for giving up the game tying goal Saturday night or the game winning goal Saturday night??? I'll give you he had his best weekend of his career but come on, until we get some consistency, this past weekend is what we have to look forward to.

Ok.
WCHA D of the week. Come on now.
As far as new D coming in. We could start by playing the ones on the bench and in the stands. Seems player management is an issue this season and it is never addressed by the media? Why is that?

LGM, Next time you are at the Verizon Wireless Center you should ask one of their staff who plays the music. Try to find out that way. The music has changed and you are still not satisfied. Honestly I'm sick of hearing about it.

Nation- I'm guessing they won't point the person out that they don't care. That's why I'm wondering if Shane has an "in" because it's not as if it's just me saying the intro is way too long. Shane has pointed it out on here and I hear fans talking about it all time time...both Mavs and visiting fans.

If I was to have the person's e-mail of course I would e-mail that person to give input, however I do not and believe it or not...many people involved in hockey (from the college and from the Civic Center) read Shane's blog so it's a good way to get the word out. So, sorry if you don't like the topic...I was thinking we're each free to talk about what we want. Didn't realize you were the comment police! If you do want to discuss it further though, you can e-mail me at letsgomavs3@yahoo.com

On a side note Shane, if you're friends with CHW on Facebook you can see a little special they did on some Mavs players about taping their sticks and other things. Kinda a little insight to the players and worth watching and posting on here!

You are right LGM you can talk about whatever you want. I'm not trying to be the "comment police" I'm just stating my opinion. The music in the Version Wireless Center is the least of my worries related to the current Minnesota State hockey team.
