Your picks? Minnesota Duluth, Boston Univeristy, Notre Dame and North Dakota. ... What happened? Boston University, Vermont, Miami and, yes, Bemidji State. ... Holy Cross' upset of Minnesota a few years ago was big, but it can't compare to the Cinderlla story of the Beavers advancing to the Frozen Four. The question now is: Will the WCHA fast-track BSU as a member in order to claim it by the time the semifinals take place on April 9?

It seems likely that BSU's strong showing would help it's chances getting into the WCHA, but a "fast-track" in time for the Frozen Four? Interesting...hadn't occurred to me.
I was being sarcastic. Perhaps that didn't come through in translation.
thanks for the site and live blog. my friends and i commented a number of times that puckato was the best game/live blog out there and we were surprised that the majority of the other schools didn't have one. for an out of state alum it's been a great way to stay informed, again i thank you for your efforts.
ok, next season. my main question is goaltending. this season was suppose to be a breakout season given the number of returning players and the outstanding goaltending at the end of 07-08. i know there were some injuries and we spent way to much time in the box but the 08-09 season was disappointing. no need to get all over me I know the team did some good things but the expectations were much higher.
this years team was still young and we only lose 5/6 Bruess leaving early. offensively, we return 9 of our top 10 scorers but is there anyone, Lee or Murdock, who can play well enough to give us a shot at top five or even contend for the conference title?
wishful thinking!
