What a start

Two games, two goals. That's how Mick Berge has started his professional career with the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays. Berge scored a goal Friday and had the game-winner in overtime on Saturday.

Apparently he decided to start shooting the puck again. I wish he would have started sniping a little earlier in the year.

Anyway, good for him. He seemed like a good kid that was trying to do what was best for the team.

Actually, Bale, Berge was second on the team with 105 shots on goal. Only Geoff Irwin, at 107, had more.

Wow, it sure didn't seem that way. My bad. Any idea what caused the dropoff in goals this year? I know Jutting kept saying that if he just kept shooting that the goals would come. It just never seemed to happen.
