I had to delete this post and its comments. I am not going to allow PucKato readers to make the kind of comments that were made here, especially when the commentators can hide behind nicknames and not put their real or full names behind it. Sorry.
I was just posting what I thought to be a fun feature that had been done on an MSU hockey fan. I didn't intend for it to turn into a referendum on that person.
Now, if you want to have a discussion on fan behavior at hockey games, let's have it.

My family enjoys the Mavs hockey games, but I do have one comment on fan behavior. As a father of two young kids, I wish the profanity could be cleaned up that is used in game chants. It is a great family activity, but this does take away from it.
The fans cannot be any worse than the students say at North Dakota. I have been up to Minneapolis for a Gopher/Maverick game and it can get pretty bad.
There's a time and place to swear super loud. A grand time NOT to swear is if the penalty is obvious and against us.
To be honest, I've only been to college games at MSU and Bemidji State. MSU's crowd is obviously larger but there's fewer puck-heads in the stands it seems, especially in the student section.
To those that attend other college games, how does the crowd at the Cell Phone compare in terms of intelligence, intensity, etc to the other crowds around the area?
