Question time!

The Mavericks are off this week. They will return to action Feb. 26 with a home game against Nebraska-Omaha and close out the regular season with conference series at Colorado College and home against Michigan Tech. Minnesota State is coming off a series split at Wisconsin that saw a winning streak extend to seven games with a 3-0 win Friday and snapped with a 4-2 loss Saturday. Sounds like a perfect time to take your questions. So submit your questions in the comment section, and PucKato try to answer them later this week.

If the Mavericks end up making the National Tournament, where would you expect them to play in the regional? I'm hoping Madison or Colorado Springs so I attend, but I know USCHO.com has a different guess, on the location, every week.

I talked to an acquaintence of Trevor Bruess and he told me that the Anaheim Ducks have already been in touch with Trevor in regards to his hockey future. Seeing as he is continuing to lead the team in scoring, do you think there's a chance he might become the next "early departure?"

I may have missed this earlier in your column but I was wondering why we haven't seen Matt Tyree playing?

After finishing tops in the state in scoring, what do you expect Ricky Litchfields next hockey move to be? Any idea if he's starting to receive any attention from Division I school's like his teammate Mr. Leiverman?

What is your take on the best and worst case scenarios for the Mavs' last five regular season games and what that might mean for their first-round WCHA playoff matchup?

A bill has been or will be introduced at the state legislature asking for funds to upgrade the Alltel Center and build an additional sheet of ice. Can you provide some of the specifics as to what those upgrades to the Alltel Center will be and where the additional sheet of ice will be built if the funding is approved? How will this additional sheet of ice be utilized?

Shane, the Mavs are tough 5 on 5 but I cringe every time they go on the power play. A real momentum stopper. No one timers and the only sniper is Berge who plays the point. How do we rank in this area?
